my name is cody lammon, my dad has a 2000 Dodge Ram 2500, with a 24valve turbo Cummins diesel, jsut today we started having transmission problems, on the way to the highway today, we noticed the truck was not shifting properly to second gear, it would stay in first gear until several RPMs were applied, then my dad let off the gas, and it went into second, we got home, checked the transmission fluid, and it was so hot it might as well have been boiling, do you or anyone here know what the problem is? email me back at:
