Today the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration published information about Cash for Clunkers Law on http://cars.gov website. The NHTSA has also coined the phrase Car Allowance Rebate System (CARS). This program was also called "Cash for Gas Guzzlers" and "Cash for Clunkers".

The program starts on July 1st.
